Isn’t this quote by Judy Garland perfect? I think it’s okay to strive to have big dreams like the celebrated and famous but not necessarily to be just like them. They are already them, so why not focus on being you? . . So what if you’re trying to figure out who you are then? Still creating your voice in your writing, your business or craft and are not quite sure or committed to a version of you can be a strange feeling. I’m sure we’re all asking if we’re even doing what we do correctly or if people will like it. . . When this happens, I remember that what I create is for me, my kids, and hopefully others who can appreciate a similar humor. It may not be for everyone and that’s okay! As long as I’m being as ME as I can be in my craft, I know I’m in the right direction.
